WELCOME TO THE STATION INN...
It's already May and summer's just around the corner. Time flies when you’re having fun. A couple of program notes for the month of May: We want to welcome back Mike Ferris & Sunday Night Shout (see this month's calendar features), a powerful performance that we're sure you won't want to miss. The Doyle & Debbie, with their fun, irreverent poke at country music, is here every Tuesday this month. And firing up the warm spot we've always had for the writers of the songs, we have the great Verlon Thompson and Shawn Camp, the incomparable Chris Hillman and Herb Pedersen, The Steeldrivers, John Scott Sherrill, and Kathy Chiavola, Billy Smith is releasing his CD with us. And we round out the month with Jim Lauderdale and Larry Cordle. There's just something special about hearing the actual writers of the songs render them the way they wrote them. Catch some of these shows this month and you'll see why.
